Mr. Zucker’s dedication to Chicago extends well beyond his role in business. For the past 30 years, he has been actively involved in civic and philanthropic efforts that contribute to Chicago’s development and cultural initiatives. Mr. Zucker was a founding member of the Junior Board of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation; a founder of Chicago Gateway Green’s hugely successful “Green Tie Ball,” an annual event supporting the beautification of Chicago’s highways and neighborhoods, which still continues today. Mr. Zucker has also served on numerous boards, including After School Matters, Chicago High School for the Arts (ChiArts), the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago Gateway Green, and is currently an Emeritus Board Member of the Goodman Theatre, after serving for 20 years as a trustee. Mr. Zucker received the Global Leadership Award for excellence in leadership and public service in his industry. He is regularly featured in various Chicago publications, including “Crain’s,” where he is frequently named a “Who’s Who in Chicago Business.”
Mr. Zucker received his bachelor’s degree in economics and business from the University of Michigan and his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
